THIS
WEEKEND! ROATAN’S FIRST ANNUAL SHRIMP FESTIVAL
On
Sunday June 19, Roatan’s exciting new tourism
festival and the island’s largest event ever,
is expected to attract 5,000 residents and tourists
to Parrot Tree’s beautiful blue lagoon and white
sandy beaches.
With
a goal of promoting the island of Roatan to the world,
organizers and sponsors are encouraging everyone to
share and enjoy the island’s traditions, while
celebrating our shrimp industry and its economic lifeblood
throughout the years.
Showcasing
the first annual festival will be six live bands plus
Garifuna dancers, Folklorico Roatan, and a traditional
Plat Pole. Queen of the Festival will be chosen from
competitors aged 6 to 12, and a Family Fun Zone will
entertain the little ones with games, crafts and activities.
Local artisans and fine artists will exhibit their work,
and many business concessions from around Roatan and
mainland Honduras will offer their services and products.
Other highlights include a “shrimp cook-off”
and blessing of the shrimp fleet.
Of
course there will be lots and lots of shrimp, prepared
in a variety of ways. You’ll find it all at the
festival – boiled shrimp, fried shrimp, shrimp
seviche and even more shrimp dishes along with other
delicious seafood and non-seafood dishes. Cold beer,
cold drinks and souvenir festival t-shirts will also
be available.
This
will be the greatest event Roatan has ever seen so if
you like shrimp, live music, arts & crafts and all
the fun of a family activity on the beach, don't miss
it!
CONDO HOTEL
AT PARROT TREE
Roatan’s Hottest Real Estate Trend
Imagine
owning a luxury beachfront condo at Parrot Tree and
receiving rental income when you’re not using
it. Sounds perfect, doesn’t it?
Parrot
Tree’s Beachfront Condominiums, 48 one-bedroom
luxury units overlooking a beautiful stretch of white
sandy beach and the secluded Parrot Tree lagoon are
the hottest product in Roatan’s real estate market
today, combining the latest trend in vacation home ownership
with luxurious beachfront residences in the island’s
finest development.
Hotel
Condominiums are a vacation-home ownership concept that
allows consumers to buy individual hotel suites, live
in the unit when they want and place it in the hotel’s
rental pool when they are not using it. Buyers also
enjoy the added benefit of carefree ownership.
Vacationers
appreciate the beauty of Parrot Tree and the amenities
to be found there while at the same time, investors
recognize the appreciation potential of a revenue-generating
vacation home in a prime location.
Following
the latest trend in condo hotels, and in response to
a demand for top quality services, J. Edwards’
new beachfront project is the first phase of their future
plans for a 150-room five star hotel at Parrot Tree.
These beautifully furnished condominium suites feature
a signature 280-foot swimming pool and recreation area,
and the fine finishing and exceptional detailing that
the developer is known for.
As
you head down the Parrot Tree road, a dazzling panorama
spreads out before your eyes and you can easily understand
why vacationers find Parrot Tree so appealing. The lushly
carpeted Parrot Tree peninsula with its three miles
of Caribbean coastline juts out between the sparkling
bays of First and Second Bight, and in the distance,
towering mountains in shades of purple define mainland
Honduras.
Investors
can see for themselves what their investment buys, and
what J. Edwards has done to increase the value of the
property. Phase One of Parrot Tree’s Marina Villa
project, 29 two and three-bedroom luxury condominiums,
is nearly sold out and in the final stages of completion.
There is quality everywhere you look. The level of construction
– materials, furnishings, finishing and fine detailing
– is unmatched anywhere on the island, and in
fact, anywhere in the Caribbean in this price range.
Parrot
Tree’s Beachfront Condos offer an excellent opportunity
if you’ve been thinking about investing in Roatan.
Prices start at $219,900. Contact us at jedwards@globalnet.hn
