Last week Roatan’s International airport was again transformed into a Concert Hall for the 3rd Annual Christmas Concert for the Angels. The Chair Committee of Helen Murphy, Ana Svoboda and Marion Seaman rearranged and decorated the airport lobby until it was a fabulous Christmas scene and concert hall. The chamber music ensemble Appassionato from San Pedro Sula performed a group of classic music and traditional Christmas music which included vocalist and clarinet solos.
The beneficiaries of the ticket sales and silent auction are Island to Island, Roatan Daycare Center, Familias Saludables, Little Friends Foundation and Clinica Esperanza. This years silent auction achieved its goal of raising $10,000 for the charities. The total raised has yet to be announced.
